Cataldo: Feast of Assumption Pilgrimage

Pilgrimage of the Coeur d'Alene Indians (done annually for over 100 years)
to the Cataldo Mission, which they helped missionaries build from 1850-1853.

Sun Valley: Center Arts & Crafts Festival

Established in 1969. Annual Sun Valley Center Arts and Crafts Festival is one
of the top one hundred juried outdoor shows in the country. 130 artists from the US and Canada present a wide variety of fine art and craftranging from traditional to contemporary. The Festival is a signature Sun Valley event celebrating the arts and community. Over 7,000 people come to enjoy extraordinary artwork, performances, artists' demonstrations, and children's activities, all free of charge.

Yellow Pine: Harmonica Fest and Contest
Annual: Aug in Yellow Pine
Established in 1989. Juried event continues Idaho Bicentennial celebration
honoring prospecting pioneers and their pocket harps. Now the 3rd largest
harmonica contest in the United States. Diatonic, chromatic, group/duo harmonica
contest. Cash awards. Free harmonica lessons. Concerts by professional judges.
Free music on the street, vendors, three catered meals, quilt raffle, and free
camping in the forest. $2 general admission to contest; $6 admission to judges'
concert in the Community Hall.
