Established in 1992. Tantalizing, mouthwatering soul food. This is a family affair filled with live entertainment, jazz, gospel music, children's' activities, adult activities, fashion show, cooking contests, information booths, arts and crafts, and much more. Meal tickets, $1 ea. Free admission to general public.

Cataldo: Feast of Assumption Pilgrimage
Annual: August 15th
Pilgrimage of the Coeur d'Alene Indians (done annually for over 100 years) to the Cataldo Mission, which they helped missionaries build from 1850-1853. Celebration to include mass, dancing, drumming, singling and Native American food.

Driggs: Grand Targhee Bluegrass Festival
Annual: August in Alta, Wyoming
Established in 1988. Fantastic 3-day event that continues to attract the country's greatest bluegrass talent. Admission fee for advanced tickets is $40 for the 3-day event. Or, $5 for Friday night, $30 for Saturday, or $25 for Sunday. Only ticket holders will be admitted.

Sun Valley: Center Arts & Crafts Festival
Annual: Aug 9-11, 2002
Established in 1969. Annual Sun Valley Center Arts and Crafts Festival is one of the top one hundred juried outdoor shows in the country. 130 artists from the US and Canada present a wide variety of fine art and craftranging from traditional to contemporary. The Festival is a signature Sun Valley event celebrating the arts and community. Over 7,000 people come to enjoy extraordinary artwork, performances, artists' demonstrations, and children's activities, all free of charge.

Yellow Pine: Harmonica Fest and Contest
Annual: Aug in Yellow Pine
Established in 1989. Juried event continues Idaho Bicentennial celebration honoring prospecting pioneers and their pocket harps. Now the 3rd largest harmonica contest in the United States. Diatonic, chromatic, group/duo harmonica contest. Cash awards. Free harmonica lessons. Concerts by professional judges. Free music on the street, vendors, three catered meals, quilt raffle, and free camping in the forest. $2 general admission to contest; $6 admission to judges' concert in the Community Hall.
