Boise: Voila! Art Auction
Annual: July
This is an additional event held in conjunction with the Botanical Gardens' Artscape Juried Fine Art Faire (see following entry) held on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00pm. Open to the general public, this event will feature live art, live music, scrumptious food and a no-host bar. Instead of an art preview show, artists will be asked to draw, sculpt, paint, sketch, etc. a person or portion of the Garden for a period of 90 minutes. Following the 90 minutes, the pieces will be auctioned to the highest bidder with 80% to the artist and 20% to the Botanical Garden. A variety of media may be used, i.e., canvas, paper, clay, etc., but it must not initially have any sketches, lines, or images upon it. Artists selected by the jury will be offered a booth location in the garden.

Boise: "Artscape" Juried Fine Art Faire
Annual: July Established in 1999. Juried event showcases handmade fine crafts and visual art. Join us for three exciting days of creativity. Live art auction where talented Artscape artist render and then sell beautiful pieces of art in the splendor of the gardens. If you love art, you won't want to miss this event. Cataldo: Historic Skills Fair
Annual: 2nd Sunday in July
This annual event features historic crafts showcasing skills in: blacksmithing, lace-making, flower press, spinning, painting, silversmithing, quilting, and old-time fiddlers. General public admission fee, $3/per vehicle or $20/per tour bus.

Challis: Choral Rendezvous

Oakley: Valley Pioneer Days
Annual: July
This is an annual event in conjunction with the Pioneer Days Rodeo, the Gymkhana, children's rodeo, and the main rodeo event . Also included is the marathon race, team penning, ending with a bar-b-que at 12:30. Live entertainment will be provided. Admission to rodeo is $5.00.

Oakley: Summer Production
Annual: July - August
Oakley Valley Arts Council produces a spring, summer, and fall production annually, as well as an annual OVAC Christmas Concert at Howells Opera House in Oakley. All labor is donated by local area talent. The summer production coincides with Oakley Pioneer Days.Reservations are recommended. Stanley: Sawtooth Mountain Mamas
July 20 and 21 2002 (3rd weekend in July) in Stanley
Established in 1976. Annual arts and crafts fair which brings together over 130 artists and craftsmen from throughout the Northwest to Stanley, ID. Only artists displaying their own original, handcrafted items are permitted to participate and all work is juried. Food booths serving a variety of foods will also be featured. Free admission to general public. Over 130 artists.
