Artist's Bio: Michael Gilliam
Michael is a junior in Challis High School,
with grand plans to become a photojournalist when he grows up. He'd like to
work for an outdoor sports magazine, preferably working on kayaking or
mountain biking shoots and stories. He just began taking pictures a couple of
years ago and based on the countless rolls of films he has burned
.... he loves to take pictures from strange angles --looking up, looking
down, looking into things, etc.
Aside from kayaking and mountain biking, Michael also loves to play soccer,
fly over hurdles in track, and wrestle. He just got his very own Nikon SLR
with a 28-300 zoom lens this past Christmas. He's been playing with all the
buttons and knobs, learning a lot and slowly getting better.
