Art in the Iron
is a family run business in the high mountain desert of central Idaho. Clay uses patterns created by his wife Tracy to produce his individualized art for the discriminating client. Every piece of art is hand cut with an oxy-acetylene torch. Your ideas, photographs or sketches can be used.  Black is common, but many other colors are available.
Imagination is the only limitation.

Artist's Bio: Art in the Iron - Clayton Young
Clay, raised in Tucson where his love for wilderness and wildlife first developed, now operates his own welding/fabrication shop in Challis.

His sister Tonya convinced Clay to market his original work. The name "Art in the Iron" was coined by his stepfather Paul. Clay's love for his wife and best friend, Tracy, and children Candice & Ty inspires him to be the best he can be.

"My father, Burl, taught me that quality work requires patience and precision.
I learned to make the most intricate cuts possible ..."
